Outer Set in copper with aliens

3 pictures. Reddish-brown, vert-de-Grèce patina, outer rougher faces with gawping space cadets.

Price range: £22.50 through £87.50

Intergalactic rubberneckers — humans are descendants of extraterrestrial intelligence who landed on Earth thousands of years ago.
3 pictures: 3 trilithons and their outer, rougher, less worked faces. The outer faces tell a long unfinished story of tool marks and raw stone.
With the disguise of colour removed, the metallic sheen, tarnish and patina exaggerates the builders’ marks.
Tarnished and toned pinkish orange, brown and blackened patina, oxidised green cracks.

Giclée prints & postage

Art giclée prints

A3+, A4+ and A5+ sizes. With plenty of space for different crops, be that square, standard A3 or A4 formats or something else. I’ve made some visual cropping examples in the other tab…

Printed by yours truly, on an Epson SureColour SC-P600. I call it hyper detail because you can’t see the ink dots with a naked eye—use a magnifying glass. Printed at 5,760dpi — twice the usual resolution of normal giclée prints. I’ve been printing art pictures for nearly twenty years, as a witch photographer. Back then, the Epson Stylus Photo A3 at 2,880 dpi was mind-blowing. Now, we are double that.

These are pigment inks, so they don’t fade in the sun, should be good for a thousand years, if they’re not, bring them back.

On a glossy white art paper, 280gsm, which is best for rich blacks, a wider colour gamut and a smooth texture means sharper prints. And each is signed by me after inspection.

Postage

A3+ Dispatched in a wide cardboard postal tube or A4+ and A5+ in a hard backed envelope. I do not sell frames! Nor, do I even frame my own pictures. I take them to Phil the Framer : -)

Collections of six or three & discount

Buy a set of six

I’ve pre-made eight sets of druids, fairies, witches, aliens, skeletons and shamen and sha-ladies. And the last is without characters. Each picture has different characters to make an ensemble. Figures give scale to the massive uprights of these trilithons. My pre-made sets are six pictures: 3 trilithons x 2 inner and outer faces. And a set is discounted, five for the price of six.

But, you can pick and mix, just add six (of the same size) to the checkout, and you’ll get the discount of five for the price of six. So, that can be copper, iron, colour; fairies, witches, inners and outers… Whatever you please.

Rules to get the discount

Just be sure that there are exactly six pictures, all the same size, in your shopping cart. The six can be a mix of fronts, backs colours or metallics, fairies or aliens. (Or, just order the pre-made sets.)

You will see the deduction in the ‘cart totals’ and the phrase, ‘Six pictures, discounted to the price of five.’

Don’t mix sizes A3+ and A4+ if you want the discount.

If you want to order more, a separate order is the way.  Everything goes through me, so of course, I’ll post multiple separate orders together. And, with free world-wide shipping, it makes no difference how many orders you create.

Cropping, texts & frames

Cropping, texts and framing

Cropping

With all the white space, you can crop as you see fit. Or, depending on your found or existing frames. These pictures will fit many formats.

You’ll need to crop some characters, others won’t need it. This gives a set of pictures quite a distinctive look.

The text block you can crop them out, giving a square format. Or you could ask for them to be removed and still go for a square format.

Text blocks

By default the text block I supply is meant to give you some clue as to where you are:
Stonehenge
The lintel number
Each stone (in its order)
The trilithon number
Height in meters and feet and inches
Inner or outer faces

Also by default, I scale the default text (and yours) according to the size of the prints, otherwise the A3+ larger would be too big, and the A5+ small, too teeny weeny.
Here are the sizes:

You can add some of your own text, or remove my default text and add your own.

Framing — I don’t

I don’t offer framing here. Nor, anywhere. I’d get splinters. I’d cut my fingers on the glass. In all the years selling pictures of witches, fairies ghosts and giants; I’ve never sold a framed picture. Sure, I mount them, but framing… No, never, ever.

There’s so much variety, waaaaaay too much, metallics, old stained. artsy-fartsy hand painted… And there’s specialist on-line companies that do post out frames, I just couldn’t compete.

So I don’t, won’t send frames by post. Too much risk with good quality glass — just take them to a local framer or buy some off the shelf frames.

Framing examples

Ikea has some damned cheap frames with mounts. They’ll be good for the A4+ Here’s how they’d look:
