Some recent prints

Posted to the Facebook user group for my 3d printer Wanhao Duplicator 7. For them to “oh” and “ah” over. Most print games figures at around 50µ with faster curing resin.

Printing at 5µ, FTD Deep Black. Modified D7, great results primarily from the 2mm pitch ball screw THK KR26 and a 0.9° motor giving a high resolution of 3,200 steps/mm, glass under LCD for crisp layers and an NZS stepper board for unnecessary motor accuracy.

Now, I need a better camera and to photograph fresh from post-prep. This has been laying around in a dusty house. Dog hairs in the vat are another issue.

Zoomed out with a matchstick for scale. The zoomed in version is at the top. Stone 54, inside, top towards the side top hole.

Right at the top of the inner face of Stone 54, clearly showing 5µ layer lines. Smaller than a red blood cell.

Stone 53 very close up showing 5µ layer lines
3) Stone 53 very, very close up showing 5µ layer lines. Whites spots are dust. I blame my dog.  And fresh from post-prep, there’s no dust.
