Graffiti on Stone 53

So much graffiti. Possibly, because some stones may be softer, easier to carve.

Oblique view of the inner face of Trilithon Two’s Stone 53. Shows well the polishing a foot or so above De Ferre’s inscription. That would be around 6′ 8″ That polishing stone would have become pretty heavy at that height.

Johannes Ludvicus De Ferre. IOH:LVD:D∑ F∑RR∑ or John Louis for short. Probably around 1600 – 1700 due to the Latin and Greek ∑ instead of E.

Head on with the Bronze Age axes and dagger. And the quartz veins cutting through all four faces.
